Bio 

Hu O’Reilly was born in Cavan, Ireland. His photography story began in 1996 when he started a Diploma in Photography course in D.I.T. School of Photography (Dublin). He then spent 6 years working as an assistant photographer and photo-shoot producer. In 2004-05 he worked as cruise ship photographer on ships in the North Atlantic, Mediterranean, Caribbean & Brazil.

In 2006 he set up his photography business in Dublin. Since then he has worked on advertising campaigns for clients including Lotto, Powers Whiskey, Oxfam Ireland, Trócaire, Transport 21 & One4All.

His photographs have been published in The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Irish Examiner, Irish Daily Mirror and in The Irish Times Magazine, Creativity Magazine (U.S.A.) and Die Zeit / Christmon Magazine (Germany).

Work on photo-documentary projects has taken Hu to Chad, Nepal, Mozambique, Thailand, Palestine, Kenya & Rwanda; and his solo photography exhibitions have been held in venues including Glór Theatre (Ennis), The Backyard (Cavan) and Filmbase (Dublin).

Hu enjoys working on photography projects with a diverse range of people and businesses.
